Bienvenue!

We are excited and proud to announce the opening of Welland’s first single-track French Immersion school in September 2025! This new school brings together the French Immersion programs from Gordon PS and Princess Elizabeth PS, while also welcoming our newest Grade 1 students from many Welland-area schools.

Our motto, Work Hard and Be Kind (Travaillez Fort et Soyez Gentil), reflects our commitment to respecting our community, our school, and ourselves. We uphold high expectations for all staff, students, and community members, fostering a culture of mutual respect and excellence.

At Bridgeview, we are dedicated to providing an immersive educational experience that deepens each child’s French language skills while cultivating a strong community of learners. We value and celebrate everyone’s thoughts, feelings, and identities. Having an entire school dedicated to speaking and learning French offers our students unique opportunities to explore French culture, traditions, and celebrations—while building a strong sense of belonging for all.

We believe that all students can learn and succeed, especially when provided with the right support. Our staff is committed to offering those supports daily and to building impactful partnerships with parents that encourage open communication and active involvement. We warmly invite families to join our School Advisory Council and take part in shaping our vibrant new community.
